Actress Yam Concepcion and her husband, Miguel CuUnjieng, have welcomed their first child.

On her social media page, Yam shared the joyful news on her social media by posting a heartwarming video compilation that chronicled their nine-month journey to parenthood.

“The best 9 months ♥️,” Yam simply wrote in the caption.

In the video, the actress started off with their sweet moments from the time they found out they were expecting. Miguel can be seen kissing and caressing Yam's growing baby bump throughout the months.

Yam also posted a photo of a heartfelt letter from Miguel as she celebrated her first Mother’s Day.

“I cannot wait to be with you ASAP, but for now, please enjoy this mini surprise <3 This is such a special time for us and it’s all thanks to you. You make my dreams come true each day, and I want to wish you a very special and magical Mother’s Day my love <3,” Miguel wrote in a letter.

In the latter part of the video, Yam can be seen lying in a hospital bed which transitioned to her and Miguel pushing a hospital bassinet with their newborn. The video ended with the couple carrying their baby carrier with a baby blanket gift from their friend.

Celebrities such as Dimples Romana, Maja Salvador, Sunshine Cruz, Bianca Lapus, Eula Valdes, Danita Paner, and KC Concepcion were quick to extend their congratulatory messages for the new parents.

“Congratulations!!! So happy for you!!!! ❤️❤️❤️,” actress Iza Calzado commented.

FPJ’s Batang Quiapo actress Cherry Pie Picache also expressed, “Congratulations daddy and mommy!!!👏🥳❤️🙏.”

“arriving just in time for the holidays!! congrats!! 🥰🫶🏻,” a friend remarked.

In June 2021, Yam surprised her fans by revealing that she and Miguel had been engaged since December 31, 2018. He proposed during a holiday trip to Niseko, Japan. They later tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in the United States in July 2021 after being together for six years.

In July 2024, the couple made another exciting announcement: they were expecting their first child.

Yam shared the news on social media with a post featuring a baby bump photo, captioning it with, “Stingrays, turtles, pigs and a bump 💙🌊☀️.”

They celebrated the news with a baby shower hosted by Yam’s mother-in-law.

"Just when I thought my mom-in-law couldn’t get any more amazing, she (threw) the sweetest and most thoughtful baby shower for us," the actress wrote in the caption.

As of this writing, Yam and Miguel have not disclosed the name of their bundle of joy.
