"And the iconic hairstyle is BACKKKKK!😭🥰," one fan wrote.

"Kapag si ate Sandara ang gumawa ng ganitong hairstyle, sobrang angas eh ❤️," one fan commented.

Sandara was recently spotted sporting the hairstyle during 2NE1's performance on the 2024 SBS Gayo Daejeon.

The show is an annual year-end music festival and awards show that celebrates the best in K-pop with electrifying performances by top artists.

In an interview with the KBS' television show Problem Child in House in 2020, Sandara shared the backstory of her "Vegeta hair," sharing that the hair was initially tough to wear.

"Which hairstyle gave you the hardest time? Was it the palm tree hairstyle?" the show's host HeeChul asked Sandara.

Sandara admitted: "Surprisingly not. There was this other hairstyle that I had when we were promoting 'I Am the Best'. I had put my hair up completely."

The singer further recalled: "It was the kind of like the hair that Vegeta from Dragon Ball had. An unbelievable amount of hair gel and spray were used that it took me like two to three hours to wash them all off."

"I had always been confident with any kind of hairstyles that I had, but not with this one. I couldn't even get off our van, the thought of it scared me a little," she added.

Sandara recalled that some girl groups were laughing at her hairstyle.

"As soon as I stepped out of the van, some girl group members looked at me and laughed at me. That really hurt me. Thankfully though, a lot of members of boy groups thought my hair was cool," she recounted.
