Kapuso actress Bianca Umali didn’t hesitate to express her amazement for her real life partner, Ruru Madrid, for his portrayal of his character in the Metro Manila Film Festival entry Green Bones. The star took to her Instagram account to pen a heartfelt message for the Kapuso actor.

Ruru plays the role of Xavier Gonzaga, a prison guard, who is still grieving over the death of his sister while opposing the release of Domingo Zamora (portrayed by Dennis Trillo).

The Kapuso star shared how Ruru would always say that she is his inspiration but the same could be said for him. She added how proud she is of her partner not just in acting but also in everything that he does–– in and out of the entertainment industry.

Bakit? Dahil maliban sa kahusayan mo, tinitingala kita dahil sa busilak mong puso, dahil likas na mabuti kang tao at dahil isa kang ehemplo na karapat dapat tularan,” she wrote.

Bianca then applauded the whole cast and crew of Green Bones for doing a job well done. She claimed that it is a masterpiece that could give inspiration to many viewers.

If there’s anything she learned from the film, Bianca shared that it would be choosing to be kind to others despite the circumstances. She urged her fans and followers to watch the film to be able to understand where she’s coming from.

Meanwhile, Ruru showed in the comment section his gratitude for the kind words his partner had for him and the MMFF entry.

Green Bones is just one of the 10 official entries to the MMFF this year. The prestigious film festival will run from December 25, 2024 until to January 7, 2025.
