Former Goin' Bulilit member Trina Legaspi, also known as Hopia, recently announced that she is expecting her second child.

Trina shared the exciting news on Instagram, posting a series of photos from a family trip to Dubai. One image shows her husband, Ryan Jarina, kneeling and kissing her baby bump.

“Soon to be 4 🤰🥰,” Trina simply captioned her post.


In another post, Trina shared a Christmas-themed family photo holding a sonogram of their unborn child.

“Bago ko makalimutan i-post, during my first trimester, @bundleofjoystudioph ang unang naka-alam! 🩷 Thank you for capturing this beautiful moment. Still can’t believe I’m gonna be a mom of two! 🫶😱,” Trina wrote.

Trina added, “Sorry for flooding, we’re just so grateful! 🙏🏻🥰”


Celebrities and netizens were quick to react to Trina's exciting news.

“Omg!! Congratulations 🤍🤍🤍,” actress Liza Soberano commented.

Trina and Ryan, who married in a private ceremony at the Holy Trinity Church in November 2021, have been together for six years. They got engaged during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.

A month after their first wedding anniversary, Trina announced her pregnancy with their first child, Kaela, who was born in March 2023.

“Last week at 5:09 pm, our lives changed forever! 🥹 8 hours of labor and 1 hour of pushing, thank you Lord for giving me the strength!! 🙏🏻 #normaldelivery Welcome to the world, Baby Kaela! 💕,” Trina wrote in a post.

She added, “Parang nag-slow mo ‘nung narinig ko na iyak niya, sobrang surreal, ‘di ko mapigilan umiyak. 😭 You are worth all the pain our baby girl. Daddy and I love you so much! 😘.

In a previous interview with Bernadette Sembrano, Trinareflected on her experience as a new mom.

“Full-time mom talaga. Nakakatuwa kapag nakita mo siyang lumaki. Gusto ko lahat ng milestones nandu’n ako,” Trina said.

“Bilang first-time parents rollercoaster siya of emotions parang nu’ng newborn pa siya, everyday ako umiiyak. It is more of ako, ‘yung hormones ko all over the place, and ngayong eventually nung naranasan namin ‘yung post-partum, naka-adjust-adjust na ganyan and natutuwa kami kapag nakikita siyang lumaki and kami rin naggo-grow kami,” she added.

Looking back on her journey, Trina expressed how motherhood came at the right time.

“Looking back ano talaga right time talaga na ma-experience ko itong season na ito,” she said. “Simula pa lang nu’ng nanganak pa lang ako, sobrang thankful ako kay Lord na na-experience ko siya. Actually kahit masakit manganak.”

“Thank you Lord I get to experience this. Galing siya sa akin, nakabuo ako ng life. Hanggang ngayon thankful ako kay Lord na na-experience ko ito,” she added.

“Parang God’s love siya, parang how God loves ‘yung anak niya. Ganun ‘yung naramdaman ko. Ito maliit pa lang ito, what more ‘yung pagmamahal ng Lord, ganun ‘yung feeling,”
