Awra Briguela reveals new hair: ‘Ready to grow stronger’

Kapamilya star Awra Briguela revealed that she recently made the decision to cut her long hair. The former child star took to her social media accounts to share the new hairstyle she now confidently wears.

Awra’s post on TikTok has already reached more than 1.3 million views as of this writing. 

The Kapamilya actress expressed how the decision of cutting her hair also symbolizes how ready she is for change in the coming year. For her, it’s more than just letting go of her long hair–– it’s a sign for a new beginning.

“As the year draws to a close, cutting your hair becomes more than just a change in appearance. It’s a symbol of renewal,” she wrote.

Awra added that she is ready to face the new year with a better mindset.

“It’s a reminder to yourself and those around you that you’re embracing the future with optimism, ready to grow stronger, and more beautiful. Just like the strands of hair that will start anew alongside the fresh start of the year,” she added. 

Fans of the social media influencer expressed how gorgeous she looked in her new hairstyle. In the comment section of her post, netizens shared how they noticed the good aura she has been showcasing in the video.

“She is Beautiful, stop the hate you really don't know what a person is going through be kind,” a fan wrote.

“It’s really good to see your videos that show you slowly picking yourself up again.️ Way to go Awra!!!! hoping na maging masagana at masaya ang iyong 2025,” another fan added.

Earlier this year, Awra took the opportunity to pen an open letter to everyone who was affected by her actions at a bar which took place last year. She expressed her regrets and assured everyone she has learned from the experience.

“The mistakes and all the damages that were done [were] mine and I am willing to take accountability and responsibility. I will take all of these as a lesson that I will carry for the rest of my life,” she previously wrote.
