In one of the behind the scenes he shared, Markki was seen strolling around with the other candidates at the historic Hollywood sign. The singer-actor shared that this was the first time he’s ever been this close to the sign despite visiting the place on previous vacations.

Markki expressed how excited he is to represent the country and the opportunity to meet several other candidates across the globe while making an impact for his chosen advocacy.

In a separate post, the Mister Universe Philippines 2024 candidate shared a glimpse of his preparations for the prestigious pageant. He revealed that he will be dressed by Filipino designers as he emphasized on having a Filipino-themed pageant for him.
