Kapamilya noontime variety show It’s Showtime will continue to air on the Kapuso network in 2025. This comes after rumors of the show parting ways with GMA made rounds on social media earlier this week.

It’s Showtime began airing on GMA’s main channel earlier this year but has partnered up with GTV since July 2023.

The Corporate Communications of GMA confirmed the news to GMA News Online earlier today, December 20, to the delight of many Madlang Kapusos.

“'It’s Showtime' will continue to air in GMA in 2025! Maligayang Pasko, madlang Kapuso at Kapamilya,” the official statement shared.

Back in November, Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes shared a statement that they were in the process of negotiations for the renewal of the Kapamilya noontime show airing on the Kapuso free TV. She also cleared up allegations that It’s Showtime had debts to the Kapuso network which made rounds on social media.

“May hinintay kaming data kaya natagalan kami bumalik sa kanila. Pero siguro mga 95 percent ano na yan. Wala namang problema kasi, e. Konting ano lang, konting pag-uusap lang. Andito sina Carlo (Katigbak), nag-uusap kami,” she shared.

“Wala silang utang. Sa ratings, wala kaming problema, kasi ang taas taas ng ratings ng It’s Showtime,” she added.

Earlier this week, Vice expressed during a segment on It’s Showtime his gratitude towards the Kapuso network for their successful partnership this 2024.

“Let’s claim it, umaasenso tayo at hindi totoong may utang ang Showtime sa GMA… Bongga talaga ‘to si Ms. Annette. I love you, Ms. Annette,” she shared.

Prior to the Kapuso network, It’s Showtime aired on TV5 back in 2022 and had its successful run on the network until 2023.

It’s Showtime continues to become the top rating noontime variety program and even posted a fused TV rating of 11.3 percent across GMA, GTV, A2Z, and Kapamilya Channel during its first episode on the Kapuso network earlier this year.
