After attending an event for overseas Filipino workers in Malacañang, Miss Universe Asia 2024 Chelsea Manalo paid a visit to the House of Representatives.

The Filipina beauty queen received a warm welcome and a token, as seen in photos shared on the social media pages of Miss Universe Philippines (MUPH).

She dropped by Congress as a guest of party-list Rep. Richelle Singson, who also serves as MUPH's adviser for women empowerment. 

"A warm welcome for our queen," MUPH said. 

Manalo is set to have a homecoming parade at the SM Mall of Asia complex in Pasay City on Friday, December 20. 

She made history as the first-ever Miss Universe Asia, joining other continental queens: Tati Calmell of Peru (Miss Universe Americas), Matilda Wirtavuori of Finland (Miss Universe Europe and Middle East), and Nigeria's Chidimma Adetshina (Miss Universe Africa and Oceania).

They will join newly crowned Miss Universe Victoria Theilvig of Denmark in working with charities supported by the international pageant.
