<p>Sandara Park discussed the story behind her iconic &quot;palm tree hair&quot; during the early days of 2NE1.</p><p>In an interview with <em>Vogue Singapore</em>, Sandara took a trip down memory lane and looked back on her iconic looks including her hairstyle when 2NE1 just debuted.</p><p>&quot;At that time, I had a lot of palm tree hair. My concept was palm tree hair and it was very bold style in anyone&#x27;s eyes,&quot; she recounted.</p><p>Sandara remembered that the hairstyle was actually shorter and it got higher as she noticed how good it looked.</p><p>&quot;The stylist and the salon owner didn&#x27;t style it too high at first, but when I tried it, it looked so beautiful so it gradually got higher,&quot; she recounted. &quot;I think we kept pushing the boundaries, and my hair got more and more daring.&quot;</p><div><iframe width="640" height="360" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/p4L8xRAwMcg" title="Sandara Park revisits her most iconic looks from over the years" frameBorder="0" allowfullscreen=""></iframe></div><p>Another iconic look she revisited during the interview was her look during the &quot;I Am The Best&quot; music video shoot.</p><p>&quot;&#x27;I Am The Best&#x27; [is] where we pushed punk to the ultimate level. We filmed the music video for a whole week. Including the sudden breakup, the surprise Coachella performance, and the 15th anniversary concert,&quot; she revealed. &quot;That’s life. But one thing is for sure: all four members love being on stage together and that’s what we’ve always wanted.&quot;</p><p>She went on: &quot;I thought we would definitely come back someday and now is the time.&quot;</p><p>Back in November, 2NE1 brought their &quot;Welcome Back&quot; tour to Manila.</p><p>&quot;I feel so emotional. The Philippines is my second home. But it’s not only me, it’s 2NE1’s second home too,&quot; Sandara told the fans during the Manila concert.</p><p>She went on: &quot;Maraming-maraming salamat sa inyong lahat. Salamat sa paghintay niyo sa’min. Ang tagal namin di ba? 10 years pero nandito pa rin kayo. Maraming salamat sa suporta niyo sa’min. Talagang na-miss namin kayo.&quot;</p>
