Kapamilya stars participated in a wellness session with the American holistic wellness organization Human Garage on Thursday, December 12.

Celebrities such as Donny Pangilinan, Belle Mariano, Piolo Pascual, Gary Valenciano, Kyle Echarri, Darren Espanto, Criza Taa, Vivoree Esclito, Gello Marquez, Argel Saycon, and Pepe Herrera and his wife Sam Mallari took part in the community healing session led by founders Garry Lineham and Jason Van Blerk.

The nearly two-hour session aimed to release tension, relieve stress, improve posture, and enhance overall well-being.

In an exclusive interview, OPM icon Gary Valenciano described the experience as "enlightening and eye-opening."

Gary expressed how the session gave them time to replenish their passion and physical energy.

There is one thing told to me before by another friend which was when an artist comes out on stage, or television, it doesn’t if it’s one or two minutes, many times, we are drained already because of the subconscious or nature of the job to keep giving... iIt's constantly giving and that needs to be replenished somehow,” Gary told PUSH.

The multi-talented artist added, “They are things that are surrounding us that we may not have been conscious about or the things we thought that we have to relearn because this is something that is going to ignite certain things in ourselves that we never knew were meant to be ignited to approach life, work, relationships, health in a totally different way.”

For Zoomers actress Criza Taa, participating in such health-related sessions is crucial for artists like her.

Sobrang important. Every day may mga nakasalamuha kami. We socialize almost every single day as part of our work. It's really nice to be able to bring back your energy sa sarili mo, to be attached with your own self, with your body,” the young star said.

Criza, who had previously had a session to relieve body pain, confirmed its effectiveness.

“(The session) really helped a lot,” Criza said. “Sobrang happy ko kasi talagang it works.”

Actor Pepe Herrera, who attended with his wife, Sam Mallari, shared how the session benefited both individuals and couples.

Ako, personally it’s a full circle (experience) for me because of my wife kasi I was finding ways of releasing blocked energies from my body, physically sa joints and mga stored traumas,” Pepe explained. “Ang simple niya very practical pero grabe yung effects.”

I really wanted to do this with my wife. Parang ang ganda niyang bonding for couples. You healed together kasi siyempre you do it for your family,” he added.

Sam, initially skeptical, found the session refreshing.

I’m pretty stoked, really like the way the whole thing is. I feel refreshed,” she said. “Everything (from the session) was useful.”

Sam also looks forward to introducing the activity to other people, saying, “I would like to have that platform to share it with more people kasi it’s very very helpful kasi. To me, I want to, bukod continue doing (this), I want to be in touch with the team.”

The special activity was organized by Donny Pangilinan’s father, Anthony Pangilinan, who personally contacted Human Garage to bring the wellness experience to the Philippines.
