Actress Yasmien Kurdi broke her silence on social media to defend her daughter, Ayesha, against her alleged bullies in her school. The celebrity mom expressed her disbelief as some of the parents allegedly want to silence her daughter.

Ayesha is Yasmien’s first child with her husband, Rey Soldevilla.

In a series of posts on her Instagram Stories, the Kapuso star shared how disheartened she was when she found out about her daughter’s bullying incident.

“Today, my daughter was targeted by a group of students in her class because she was unable to keep up with group messages about their upcoming Christmas party while we were out of the country,” she shared.

Yasmien recalled that Ayesha was blocked from leaving the classroom and even denied her food by seven to nine students of her school.

“In other words she was ganged up on,” she claimed.

The celebrity mom shared that her daughter took a short vacation with them as she was already harassed by other students by taking a video of her without her consent. She revealed that because of this action, her 12-year old daughter had paranoia and anxiety.

“Ayesha is just a kid; she recently turned 12. And she has been enduring this type of bullying since grade 2, alarmingly this type of bullying since grade 2, alarmingly this has led to the creation of an online 'AYESHA HATE CLUB' targeting her. For some reason, some of these students are now in her class,” she said.

Yasmien then revealed that parents of the students are allegedly coming to their rescue and turning against her daughter by twisting the events that transpired.

“I am not surprised that the parents of bullies come to their rescue. However, twisting events and claiming it was a regular student meeting and questioning back my daughter's behavior is absurd,” she added.

She questioned the stance of her daughter’s school when it comes to bullying as she disclosed that a mother of the alleged bully is telling her to “back off” from the case.

“Kapal muks talaga! Ayaw na lang mag-sorry. Ito namang si kumare may pa-heart pa, yun pala mga anak nila ang involved,” she revealed.

In her Instagram post, Yasmien expressed her apologies to Ayesha for letting her experience bullying. As a mother, she assured her daughter that she will be there and protect her from all her bullies.

“I’m so sorry, Ayesha. You have to go through all of this because I am your mom. But I will always be here for you. I will protect you with all my life. You are beautiful inside and out,” she wrote.
