It’s Showtime host Vice Ganda expressed his appreciation for P-pop boy group SB19 after spending a fun day with them in his latest vlog.

In the video, Vice visited the group at their studio, bringing bread and pastries for the members. He then had Pablo, Stell, Josh, Ken, and Justin join in a popular TikTok trend, “suspect, suspect,” where the members teased each other by sharing “fun facts” about one another.

During the playful exchanges, Justin jokingly teased Stell, saying, “Suspect, suspect dati mukhang suspect,” to which Stell responded, “Dati ba hindi kayo mukhang suspect? Nagkapera lang ako. At least ako mukha lang pero kayo amoy suspect.”

The banter led to lots of laughter, revealing a different side of the group.

Vice expressed his joy at seeing the group in such a lighthearted and relaxed moment.

“Thank you, guys, for sharing. Nakakatuwa. Pinaka-na-happy ako kasi this is the first time na nakita ko kayo na ganiyan. Kapag nakita ko kayo kasi performers kayo tapos tahimik lang kayo... Ang saya na ang normal,” Vice said.

“Thank you very much for being generous to me, very authentic. Gusto ko talaga maging friend niyo. Gusto ko kayo makuwentuhan din,” Vice added.

Sitting with the group again, the Kapamilya noontime show host recalled his first time meeting with them on Gandang Gabi Vice (GGV).

“I remember the first time I met you guys in GGV, that was the starting days niyo pa lang iyon,” Vice shared.

“Gumawa pa kayo ng song for me… Ang saya saya niyo na nandoon kayo sa GGV,” Vice added. “Yung treatment niyo sa akin super na-appreciate ko.”

Vice then expressed his gratitude the group for joining him in his Magpasikat performance alongside Karylle and Ryan Bang and rewrote the lyrics of their song "Liham" to align with their performance about hope last October.

“Salamat sa pagsama sa akin sa Magpasikat. Ang laking bagay noong ginawa niyo not just for my group but for the audience. Proud talaga ako doon, proud ako sa ginawa natin. Ayon yung kahit kailan nila mapanood hindi nila mapanood,” the Unkabogable Star said.

Vice also thanked SB19 for allowing him to use their song "Mapa" in his Metro Manila Film Festival film, And The Breadwinner Is.

“Salamat pinayagan niyo (rin) gamitin yung ‘Mapa’ sa And The Breadwinner Is. Pinakulay niyo at binigyan niyo ng mas magandang kuwento yung kuwento namin dahil sa kanta niyo,” he continued.

Talking about the theme of Vice’s new film, the members opened up about being breadwinners and the fulfillment they find in providing for their families.

Ken spoke about how his success has allowed him to provide a better life for his family.

“I just want my family to have a life na hindi namin natatamasa noon. Masarap makatulong and sobrang nakakaproud sa sarili. Yung satisfaction na nabibigay sa'yo na makapagprovide ka sa parents mo which is sila yung nagprovide sa'yo dati, hindi naman parang may utang na loob ka,” Ken shared.

Josh, who described himself as independent, shared how his career has enabled him to support his family, saying: “Ever since noong naging successful kami, parang ako na rin po yung umako sa kanila.”

For Stell, he shared how he voluntarily took on the role of the main provider for his family, inspired by the struggles his parents faced while raising him and his siblings.

“Growing up po kasi, nakita ko yung hirap ng parents ko para maitaguyod kaming magkakapatid so ginawa ko po lahat para makapagprovide until mabigyan ako ng chance itong SB19 kasi sabi ko kapag nabigyan ako ng chance maging artist, talagang doon ko po gagawin yung best ko,” Stell shared. “Very thankful na may ganitong blessings na dumadating sa amin at nakakpagprovide kami sa family."

Pablo, while not the primary breadwinner, expressed deep gratitude for his siblings' support in his journey.

“Yung Kuya ko, sobrang dami naitulong sa aking pagdating sa art. Yung kapatid ko po si Josue, katulong ko po siya sa paggawa ng music. Masasabi ko na hindi ko po maangkin yung breadwinner (on my own) but siguro kaming magkakapatid share kami doon sa bread to help the family,” he remarked.

Justin, while not a breadwinner himself, talked about how his success has brought happiness to his family.

“Ngayon nafeel ko na difference na masaya kami sa pamilya compared before na stagnant lang yung life namin sa pamilya,” he said.

As the vlog concluded, Vice expressed pride in SB19's continued success.

“As a Filipino, thank you very much for the pride. Keep on winning for you, for your group and for all of us. We are very proud of you. We are very happy for you. We are all rooting for you and I am personally going to support you always,” he said.
