Xia Vigor discussed her decision to stay in the Philippines instead of going back to the UK to continue her studies.

"I really, really thought about it kasi magandang 'yung opportunity na 'yung mag-aral sa England and ang ganda ng education system din doon," she admitted in an interview with Bianca Gonzalez on the TFC show BRGY.

But the former child star realized that she really wanted to pursue show business further as it is her passion.

"I really said to myself kung if ever man mag-aaral ako sa England I would still get a course related to what I am doing right now. So parang sinabi ko na it's something na I can do naman ngayon eh, why would I choose to study there? I can study naman there for university or something pero ngayon po parang pinili ko po talagang mag-showbiz, maybe because it's something I really love doing, it's my passion," she remarked.

In the same interview, Xia also shared her journey, transitioning from being a child star to a teen star.

"I still feel a child at heart," she admitted. "Pero since right now siyempre 'yung mga roles ko mag-iiba, hindi na 'yung katulad sa Team Yey! and I want to adjust slowly naman pero medyo nakikita ko na nga 'yung differences sa mga ginagawa kong roles before," she pointed out.

The teen actress added that her music has also evolved now. "Like new song ko, the lyrics, 'yung mga parang pampakilig na talaga so parang I did expect na mapupunta naman po sa ganitong situation pero I'm just here for it. I'm here to see kung anong mga adjustments ang mangyayari," she said.

Xia is currently starring in the TikTok series He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not.

"This is a teenage story parang high school story, and it was really fun to shoot actually because I got to shoot with two of my friends," she shared.

She went on: "So parang mas naging easier for me na sa first role ko na parang pampakilig parang it was easier for me to do it with my friends so parang wala namang masyadong awkwardness, super smooth lang, and I really got to enjoy the TikTok series," she said.

On her dream co-star, Xia shared that she dreams to work with Sarah Geronimo in the future.

"[Si] ate Sarah G. She's really good sa acting, singing dancing, all-around siya so parang she's one of the people na hinahangan ko po sa showbiz," she said.

On her future plans, Xia aspires to be a great performer in the future. "I want to equip myself with singing and dancing. Hopefully I can be a great performer and sana more projects."
