Kristel Fulgar announced that her Korean suitor Ha Su-hyuk is now her boyfriend.

The actress made the revelation in her latest vlog titled "Finally, my first boyfriend."

The two became a couple after Su-hyuk was baptized to be a member of Kristel's church, Iglesia ni Cristo (INC).

"Words can't fully capture the happiness I'm feeling in this moment. I've never known a love like this before, it fills me with peace," the actress remarked.

She added: "For the first time, I truly feel whole, as though I've finally found the missing piece of my heart."

It took almost one year before Kristel said yes to be in a relationship with Su-hyuk.

Kristel recalled that last January on Su-hyuk's birthday, the latter asked her to be his girlfriend, but she refused. She recounted: "Despite the growing affection I feel for him, I find myself unable to commit because of our differences in religious beliefs. It hurt both of us but despite the rejection, he remained respectful and patient, waiting for the right time to come."

Following Su-hyuk's baptism with INC, he asked Kristel again if he could be her boyfriend. The actress said yes.

"The first man I ever said 'I love you' to is none other than my first boyfriend," Kristel remarked.

Fans online were quick to express their happiness for Kristel and Su-hyuk.

"Naiyak ako, so happy for Kristel. Su hyuk is a great man indeed," one fan commented.

It was in February 2024 when Kristel first opened up about her Korean suitor.

She made the revelation in a YouTube vlog wherein she documented their trip to the Ludensia theme park and Nami Island where they took various photos and recorded TikTok videos.
