Former Little Mix member Jesy Nelson announced the early arrival of her twin daughters with partner Zion Foster.

The couple shared the joyful news on Instagram, posting a heartwarming photo with their newborns.

“So… Our beautiful baby girls decided to come at 31 weeks plus 5 days. It all happened so quickly, but we are so blessed that they are here with us, healthy and fighting strong!” Jesy wrote.

The proud parents introduced their daughters, Ocean Jade and Story Monroe, with a sweet message, saying, “We’ve never felt more in love 🥹 Everybody meet Ocean Jade Nelson-Foster and Story Monroe Nelson-Foster. Born on 15.05.2025 🌊📖.”

Jesy and Zion first announced they were expecting back in January, sharing a photo of Jesy’s baby bump.

“She’s eating for 3 now 👶👶,” she simply wrote in a post, revealing they were having twins.

Two months later, the couple disclosed that Jesy was experiencing pregnancy complications. They revealed that their twins were diagnosed with monochorionic diamniotic (MCDA) twin pregnancy, high risk a condition where identical twins share a single placenta.

“We just wanted to let you on a little journey on what we are going through,” Jesy said at the time. “There are complications that come with having identical twins.”

The British singer described that the condition was “one baby might take all the nutrients (from the placenta) and which is really awful to say, could lead to both babies dying.”

Shortly after, Jesy posted an emotional video update, sharing that she was experiencing symptoms such as stomach tightening and difficulty breathing, which led her to seek medical attention.

“Today, we came into the hospital to have a checkup basically just in case, and unfortunately the symptoms have got worse,” Jesy said.

Jesy then underwent a medical procedure designed to give the twins the best chance of survival.

“So yeah, we’re just waiting to go in and we’re just hoping and praying for the best, really,” she continued.

“That’s why they do this procedure, because it literally gives you the best chance of your babies surviving. But it’s obviously just really scary because there’s so many things that can happen,” the singer emotionally stated. “Just pray for us. Please.”

Thankfully, just in time for Mother’s Day in the UK, Jesy and Zion shared that the procedure was successful.

"The TTTS (Twin-to-Twin Transfusion Syndrome) has cleared up. The operation was a success, which is just absolutely incredible. We are so, so lucky," Jesy shared.

She also mentioned she needed to remain in the hospital to reduce the risk of preterm labor.

In an article by PEOPLE Magazine, Jesy expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support from fans.

“You guys have been so lovely. We've seen all of your lovely messages and stories, and it's just really helped us keep going. So we just wanted to say thank you for that,” she added.

Jesy rose to fame as a member of Little Mix, the girl group formed on The X Factor UK in 2011. She departed from the group in December 2020, citing struggles with her mental health.

"The truth is recently being in the band has really taken a toll on my mental health. I find the constant pressure of being in a girl group and living up to expectations very hard," she wrote.

“There comes a time in life when we need to reinvest in taking care of ourselves rather than focusing on making other people happy, and I feel like now is the time to begin that process. So after much consideration and with a heavy heart, I’m announcing I’m leaving Little Mix,” she added.

Since launching her solo career in 2021, Jesy has released singles including “Boyz” featuring American rapper Nicki Minaj, “Bad Thing” and “Mine,” a collaboration with Zion Foster.
