Actress Ruffa Gutierrez posted on Instagram to honor the memory of Asia’s Queen of Songs, Pilita Corrales, who passed away at the age of 87.

 Ruffa shared a carousel of photos with the late music icon, including a memorable moment with singer Ciara Sotto. 

The cover photo was taken in 2023 when Corrales guested on the talk show M.O.M.S., which Gutierrez co-hosts.

“Thank you for the love, laughter, and music, Tita Pilita. You will forever be in our hearts. Rest in paradise, Tita. We love you so much,” Ruffa wrote in her caption.

Pilita Corrales, known for her soulful renditions of classics like “Come Closer To Me” and Mike Velarde’s “Dahil Sa ‘Yo,” was celebrated not only for her timeless voice but also for her contributions as an actress, TV host, and trailblazer in the Philippine entertainment industry.

Her passing was confirmed by her family on Saturday, leaving fans and fellow artists mourning the loss of a beloved legend.
