<div><span class="fr-img-caption fr-fic fr-dib" style="width:960px"><span class="fr-img-wrap"><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/17616562399291761656257013.png" style="width:960px" class="fr-fic fr-dib"/><span class="fr-inner" style="text-align:left"><em>Courtesy of PUBG Mobile </em></span></span></span></div><p>MANILA -- Zaijian Jaranilla once again tapped on the hearts of his audience through his craft in acting.</p><p>But this time, he tugged on the emotions of gamers that formed strong bonds with people they met through online games.</p><p>Zaijian starred as &quot;Nate&quot; in PUBG Mobile&#x27;s short film, documenting how the friendships he built in-game transcended the borders of the app and the screen itself.</p><p>The film, based on a player&#x27;s true story, showed the bond they built with their &quot;Ate Artemis,&quot; who ultimately succumbed to cancer.</p><p>On May 23, 2020, Nate and his clan performed a 21-gun salute in-game in honor of Ate Artemis.</p><p>&quot;Playing with them felt like the world isn&#x27;t so bad. We had difficult situations individually. But you know, having friends like those made everything easier,&quot; the real-life Nathaniel &quot;Nate&quot; Tan said.</p><p>&quot;I just really miss her presence, you know. And hindi ko ineexpect na magluluksa ako para sa tao na hindi ko naman talaga na-meet in person.
