MANILA -- Actress Sofia Andres announced on Tuesday her experience with a stylist whom she claimed has been using her name to deal with brands without her permission.

In an Instagram post, Andres explained why she is parting ways with Steph Aparici. whom she said she treated as a family.

"After much consideration, l've decided to part ways with my current stylist that I also treated as my family-Ms, Steph Aparici. It was a hard decision but l'm excited to explore new opportunities and styles moving forward. I've never experienced anything like this before," she said.

"It's a reminder to be cautious-business is business, nothing personal. And I'm learning to trust my instincts," the actress added.

She did not go deeper to what she meant by the "experience" that she never had before, but she dropped a hint towards the end of her post.

"To all the brands that I've worked with through her; or sent some pieces that didn't reach me or I haven't posted, pls feel free to email me directly!" Andres wrote.

She actually has a prior post with more specific details which was then deleted, though some took screenshots of it and posted them online.

"Because I wasn’t aware that she’s been using my name [and] would also share my contacts to other clients," she stressed on her original post.

The stylist has yet to respond as of this writing.
