MANILA  -- Respecting both sides. This was how actress Sofia Andres described her friendship with ex-couple and her friends Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla. 

In a recent interview with ABS-CBN News, the actress revealed that she manages to maintain her friendship and still hangs out with both Bernardo and Padilla separately.  

"Actually, my partner Daniel (Miranda) is close to DJ (Daniel Padilla) talaga so they still hang out. Ako naman I hang out with Kath (Kathryn Bernardo). Wala namang bad blood," the actress told the press. 

According to Andres, she "respects" both Padilla and Bernardo in whatever decisions they have in life.

"I respect both sides kasi siyempre sila 'yung nakaka-alam. I'm fair," she said. 

Andres, Bernardo, and Padilla have been known for their friendship since they started out show business. The three recalled working with each other for the first time in 2012 in the series "Princess and I," which was Andres' first project with ABS-CBN.

Since then, Andres has become close even outside the show business. In 2019, Bernardo was among the first to know about Andres' pregnancy

In November of 2023, Bernardo and Padilla confirmed that they had decided to end their 11-year relationship through their respective social media posts.
