MANILA — The makeover challenge of "Drag Race Philippines" has inspired viewers as the queens are reunited with their families.

In the seventh episode of the show, the 7 remaining queens were tasked to transform their loved ones into superheroes.

Viewers were emotional with Zymba Ding and her mom's battle with the stigma surrounding leprosy, as with Khianna and her parents' past.

Many also felt kilig with the makeovers that Your Tita Baby and Popstar Bench gave their partners. 

However, Maxie was a standout during the episode with their intergalactic-inspired looks with his father, Tatay Bubot.

"This fantasy took us to another level, and Tatay Bubot ang masasabi ko lang po sa inyo, this is a testament of your love and devotion kay Maxie," Kaladkaren said.

"I liked the way Maxie played on the silver and gold combining them but nung tinuruan siya ni Maxie na maglakad and he did his best kahit alam mong machong-macho si Tatay, I'm very proud of that," he added.

Jiggly Caliente thanked Tatay Bubot for protecting her children, Maxie and Angel, who are both in the competition.

"Tatay Bubot, thank you for accepting your children, hindi pinipiling pagtawanan, laitin ng mga tao, and for you to have the support system, the father to protect because that's a father's job, it's to protect your children, make them feel safe," she said

Maxie won the episode making her the frontrunner with three wins under her belt.

Khianna and Popstar landed in the bottom and had a lip sync battle to "Get Your Rebel On" by RuPaul with the latter ending her journey in 7th place.

All episodes of “Drag Race Philippines” and its “Untucked” segment are available on WOW Presents Plus and HBO Go.

The Emmy Award-winning original series has featured the talents of Filipino drag queens in the US and several overseas editions through the years.
