MANILA — "The look is gone but looks are prepared. It's just my lapses."

These were the words of Bacolod-based artist Yudip*t*, also known as Yudi, explaining to her fans her surprise exit on "Drag Race Philippines" season 3.

In the middle of the lip sync battle with J Quinn to "Wag Kang Pabebe" by Vice Ganda, Yudi stopped and walked out.

Fans were shocked with Yudi's exit, leading her to explain what led her to her decision.

In a vlog, Yudi gave three reasons, one being how stressed out she is during the preparations for the show and working with what's left with her stuff.

"We're gonna start off sa part na parang stressed na stressed ako roon sa preparation and all that jazz," Yudi said. 

"It's so tiring to, you know, do yourself on your own and sh*t. Isa lang 'yung help ko roon, parang 'yung jowa ko lang 'yung help ko roon, so tiring, girl. So, I feel like that affected my mental state sa competition as well," she added.

She shared how queens helped her with makeup but did not elaborate what happened with her things.

"I think everybody knows about wala akong makeup sa competition and parang I have to do what I have to do. I have to do what I was given. And I have to use what I have, you know," the drag artist said.

"The funny thing is nanghiram ako ng brushes kay Zymba, nag-ask ako ng brushes kay Khianna. Mayroon siya nung favorite kong foundation brush, sabi ko, 'Oh my God, bakla favorite foundation brush ko 'yan,' sabi niya hindi niya ginagamit so binigay niya sa 'kin. Pasabog, three brushes na si bakla," she added. 

"Tas nakakita ako ng two other brushes na dual-ended. So, that's like three, four, five, six, seven. Eight brushes in total. I had to work with what I have and the makeup I have on hand, bakla. Alam niyo naman how hard that could be."

Yudi also shared how at times she felt that she does not belong on the show.

For context, Cagayan de Oro-based queen Khianna also had a heated discussion with Versex about their performance.

The following episode, Myx Chanel had to defend Yudi and Khianna noting that they should not underestimate queens from provinces.

"I don't want to blame them, but I don't feel like I belong in that circle. So, it kind of got to me that, b***h, you don't even know me. How do you conclude such things about a bitch?" the drag artist said. 

"I think 'yan 'yung second factor. I don't feel like I belong in that circle. Like, I can't mingle that much with the girls. I just know them dito lang. It was just tiring being underestimated. Ang liit ng tingin nila sa 'kin. In a way, I know they're going to say that they don't but, that's what I felt," she added.

"So, you don't have the right to invalidate me and what I felt in that competition. I don't know. I feel like my drag was so small there. Like, I don't know. It felt like my drag didn't belong."

Lastly, Yudi felt that she was incomplete on the show noting that it was not the caliber of drag that she wants to deliver on the competition.

"I don't want to show drag na parang unpolished. That was not the caliber of drag that I expect to show on the show. Ang dami kong ni-prepare tapos ang daming glam stuff doon and there's a lot of things and there's just a lot of details that I don't like and a lot of looks that were not complete," the drag artist said.

"It just felt incomplete, 'yung run ko. So, I didn't wanna to go on further looking like a mess. I think that's the main reason na ayokong magmukhang messy on the show," she added.

Yudi admitted that she wanted to quit even on the first episode but she was thinking about the people who are supporting her drag journey back home.

"The only thing that made me move further sa show is, I was thinking about the people who were chatting me at encouraging me. You know, fantasy nila since season 1 na nandoon ako. That's the only thing that I think about every night," the drag artist said.

"And, every time, diba wala akong makeup. I was just thinking, you can do this. You can do everything. You are that girl. You're not gonna give up just because you don't have makeup, girl," she added.

She credited her fans for the support they've given to her that made her last longer.

"It's so corny to say. But, as corny as it sounds but the fans really are the ones that really kept me going kasi episode 1 pa lang ayoko na talaga ayoko na talaga. Like, I don't want to keep going but, I was like, when are you gonna do it? If not now. This is the time. We are here," Yudi said.

"The look is gone but looks are prepared. It's just my lapses. So, sabi ko, ilalaban ko na 'to and sabi ko babawi na lang ako sa socials and with that being said, I just wanna say that, I did my best. I did what I had to do. And, I was tired," she added.

Yudi was still glad with her run on the show and shared an advice to her fans.

"I was tired of being seen as so small. And, I was tired of, I don't know. I was so tired. It was not the run that I thought that I would do to show. But, what's done is done. And, I'm so happy with my run in the show," she said.

"And, I appreciate everybody's support and love. Okay, that was all from me. I am gonna leave you guys with one message and that would be, take risks. Don't give a f*ck. And, always be that girl."
