Kaila Estrada’s dream action role granted in ‘Incognito’

<p>Kapamilya actress Kaila Estrada is known for being very effective in her drama roles in series such as &quot;Can’t Buy Me Love,&quot; where she played Bettine Tiu, and &quot;Linlang&quot; (as Sylvia Lualhati), among others. </p><p>But now, Estrada is donning a different suit and this time she’ll be fulfilling one of her dream roles -- in an action genre. </p><p>Speaking to ABS-CBN News before departing for Italy where she will be taping scenes with her co-actors in the series &quot;Incognito,&quot; she reminded us about her manifestation in working in an action project. During her contract signing with ABS-CBN, she shared that action has always been a dream project for her. When the project was offered, it was a big yes.</p><p>“Dream come true para sa akin talaga. Asked if she has an &quot;inner Angelina Jolie,&quot; she said she’s ready to unleash her in ‘Incognito.’ </p><p>“I love watching action films. I even rewatched some of my favorite action flicks for this. Hindi ko pa masasabi kung matatapatan ko si Angelina Jolie pero I hope, abangan nyo na lang siguro.” </p><p>A few weeks ago, Estrada and the rest of the team spent weeks in El Nido, Palawan shooting scenes for the series. </p><p>“El Nido was beautiful. It was such a nice place to shoot as well. We had a lot of interesting scenes, I hope people are excited,” she said.</p><p>“We’ve trained so hard for this, before we even started taping. Sobrang saya ng mga trainings namin. Na-apply na namin siya sa Palawan pa lang.”</p><p>Esta\rada also applauded her co-actors in bringing their A-game into this project. </p><p>“They were all so professional. Actually, extra effort akong humabol sa kanila. Kasi I feel like it’s so natural for them. Medyo extra effort, pero you know what? Challenge is always good ‘coz it means growth and I’m learning so much already. We just shot our pilot (episode) so I’m really excited for Italy and what this cycle will bring.”</p><p>We often hear actors saying ‘you’ll see a different me in this project’, but Esrada assured that it’s a different Kaila in this series.  </p><p>“Ito talaga &#x27;yun.
