MANILA — Cagayan de Oro-based queen Khianna won the premiere episode of "Drag Race Philippines" season 3, aired Wednesday.

In the first episode, the 11 queens were introduced and was joined by "Magandang Buhay" host Jolina Magdangal in the "Werk Room."

During the mini-challenge, the queens were tasked to walk and vogue on the main stage with former contestants Viñas DeLuxe, Arizona Brandy, Brigiding, Bernie, Minty Fresh, and M1ss Jade So as judges.

Khianna won the mini challenge and gave her additional 5 minutes to do her video for the maxi challenge. 

In the maxi challenge, the queens were tasked to do a 1-minute viral video showing their brand as drag queens.

Tita Baby, Myx Chanel, Maxie, Zymba Ding, Yudip*t*, and Khianna were asked to stay on the main stage and were declared the top queens of the week.

Zymba and Khianna dominated the episode and battled it out for the win with a lip sync to "Puede Ba" by Maymay Entrata.

"Your video, I think it will go viral because you know, it's very entertaining, full production number, it's well thought of and at the same time, it's fun," Kaladkaren said to Khianna. 

"All I can say is pang-international, 'yung beat niya, 'yung lyrics niya, 'yung dance moves mo, you're ready for the global stage, girl. Congratulations," she told Zymba.

Khianna won the lip sync and took home the first badge of the season with no one going home on the first episode.

Precious Paula Nicole and Captivating Katkat are the titleholders of "Drag Race Philippines," winning in 2022 and 2023, respectively.
