The trailer, released Thursday by Netflix Philippines, opens with Woo-bin's character, Lee Jung-do, stumbling upon a late-night brawl. He intervenes and swiftly overpowers a man wearing an electronic ankle monitor, who is later revealed to be a dangerous criminal.

The incident leads to Jung-do's recruitment into the police force as a "martial arts officer," working alongside probation officer Kim Sun-min (played by Kim Sung-kyun) to monitor offenders and prevent crimes.

"Officer Black Belt" will be available for streaming on Netflix beginning Sept. 13.

Woo-bin, who started his career as a model before transitioning to acting, is known for starring in K-dramas such as "The Heirs," "Uncontrollably Fond," and "Our Blues."

He is also set to reunite with his "Uncontrollably Fond" co-star, actress Bae Suzy, in a romantic-comedy series that will also stream on Netflix.

Sung-kyun, meanwhile, is known for appearing in series such as "Reply 1988," "D.P.," and "Moving."
