MANILA  -- After sharing his joy as a first-time father, actor Albie Casiño shared how fatherhood changed his life.

In an interview on Tuesday for his upcoming movie with Vivamax "Butas," the actor opened up about how hands-on he is as a father to his month-old baby boy Roman Andrew.   

"Thankfully naman 'yung project ko, na-lock in kami so kapag nasa work ako, hindi na ako nagigising in the middle of the night to change diapers, pero siyempre nami-miss ko siya, Facetime kami kapag nasa work so naiisip ko siya, so when I'm home super hands on,"  the actor said. 

With their parenthood set up with non-showbiz partner Michelina, Casiño candidly described the little development he had seen in his month-old baby whom he described now as his source of happiness. 

"Wala baby pa siya e, so hawak ko lang siya, (laughs) pero he's developing a personality nakikilala na niya kung sino kami and these kind o stuffs, kapag pumupunta ang mom ko, alam niya na andon na 'yung lola niya you can see e, kasi nung start na andon siya sa states, tinititigan ko lang siya e, kung natutulog titignan mo kung humihinga. Minsan kapag pagod na pagod ka, 'please matulog ka na', tapos kapag nakatulog na 'yes pwede na ako mag gym', tapos kapag nasa gym mode naman na ako 'every now and then sinisilip ko kung gumalaw tapos balik gym ka ulit nakakatuwa," he said. 

The actor did not deny that fatherhood scared him, which turned him into a better and more responsible person. 

"At first takot 'di ba? Naging excited rin, it just turn na ito na, ito na 'yung kailangan kong gawin this is my life now, pero 'it's the best feelings," he explains.

Just this June, the actor shared on his social media that he is now a father with a non-showbiz girlfriend Michellina.
