MANILA -- The Kings of Pinoy Pop, SB19, graced the premiere night of their documentary, "Pagtatag," which chronicles their journey through their world tour.

The film offers fans an intimate look into the group's relationships, both on and off stage, as well as how they navigated through the challenges and triumphs of their careers. 

Justin, one of the group's members, shared his thoughts after watching the documentary, highlighting the authenticity it captured. He remarked, "Gusto namin yung hindi harap-harapan kinukunan kami kasi hindi kami magiging authentic pag alam namin na, alam mo yun, magiging conscious. Natutuwa kami na yung nga moments hindi namin alam may camera pala." 

A particularly poignant segment of the documentary unmasked the vulnerabilities of Pablo, who was shown experiencing moments of anxiety and panic before stepping onto the stage. 

"Hindi po siya totally na videohan pero dahil siguro love na love ako ng team ko na binibigyan nila ako ng privacy pagdating dun sa ganung bagay," Pablo explained. 

He described the overwhelming physical and emotional toll of these moments, saying, "Everytime po nagkakaroon ako ng stressful moments, nagkakaroon po ako ng panic attack, tapos nanginginig po buong katawan ko, tapos nasusuka ako, tapos hindi po ako makapag-isip ng maayos. Napahapyawan po siya." 

Despite the challenges, Pablo noted that watching the documentary renewed his strength and motivation: "Habang pinapanood ko siya, lumalakas ulit yung loob ko. Dito kasi sa industry, when it gets repetitive, parang nawawalan ka ng soul, parang mawawalan ka ng gana and maghahanap ka palagi ng motivation." 

Ken emphasized the importance of the documentary in showing their fans that they are regular people, saying, "Yung ganitong documentary talaga, ito yung way para mapakita namin na tao din kami. It's just really helpful for us to connect sa fans para makita talaga nila who we really are." Josh echoed this sentiment, adding, "Gaya ng sabi ni Ken, tao din kami and bilang tao, it's possible to do the impossible." 

The documentary also tackled one of the most significant challenges SB19 faced—the controversy surrounding the potential ban on the use of their name, "SB19." Despite the hardships, the group remained resilient, and "Pagtatag" captures the spirit that has driven them to success.
