The succeeding parts contain spoilers for those who are not updated on the anime or manga.Initially, Vivi will be known to the audience as Miss Wednesday of the Baroque Works, a criminal syndicate led by the warlord Crocodile.She infiltrated the organization to learn the true identity of the organization that she believed was responsible for the decline of Alabasta and the threat of civil war.The casting announcement was made after weeks of rumors that Chandran will play the role of Vivi since she was reportedly spotted with some cast members of the series in South Africa, where the show is being filmed.Earlier on Thursday, it was announced that Sendhil Ramamurthy will play the role of Nefertari Cobra, king of Alabasta and father of Vivi.Chandran recently starred in the popular Netflix period drama Bridgerton as Edwina Sharma. Ramamurthy, on the other hand, was best known for his roles in the sci-fi drama Heroes and the TV series Beauty &amp; the Beast.One Piece creator Eiichiro Oda announced that season 2 of the live action will cover Loguetown, Reverse Mountain, Whiskey Peak, Little Garden, and Drum Island.
