BINI member Aiah Arceta. Photo from BINI's X accountBINI star Aiah Arceta praised Thursday the people she met while on a casual outing in Taguig City, following recent incidents where she and her bandmates faced unpleasant encounters in public.

On X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, Aiah shared a video of herself visiting a fast food chain that BINI endorses. In the clip, the crew can be seen asking for a photograph with her.

The video bore the text: "This is the positive impact of the girls speaking up. Fans learn to show respect. Not the dumog (to swarm) culture."

In her post, Aiah suggested that the video was taken during a leisurely visit with a friend to Bonifacio Global City (BGC) in Taguig on Wednesday. She also praised those who respectfully asked for photos with her.

"I just wanna acknowledge and commend everyone I have met yesterday! I got to walk around BGC after a long time," she wrote in her post.

"My friend even said how it was very peaceful and nice of how others would approach me to talk or ask for a picture all in a very respectful way."

Members of the "Nation's Girl Group" have recently spoken out about uncomfortable public encounters, expressing concerns over their personal space being violated when approached for photos.

Just last week, member Gwen revealed that people have "knock[ed]" on the members' rooms to ask for photos.

In July, a video went viral on social media showing a man seemingly getting too close to Aiah while she was at a bar with friends.

Star Magic, the girls' management, earlier reminded the public to "respect the personal space and privacy of our talents," especially during their "personal time off."
