<p>MANILA -- The 2024 Awit Awards is shaping up to be a celebration of P-pop, with SB19 and BINI leading the charge. SB19 is at the forefront with a staggering 12 nominations, while Nation’s girl group BINI garnered seven nods.</p><p>SB19’s latest EP “Pagtatag!” earned a nomination for Album of the Year, while their hit single &quot;GENTO&quot; is in the running for six awards, including Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best Performance by a Group. </p><p>SB19 is also nominated for Best Dance/Electronic Recording, Best Ballad Recording, Best Pop Recording, Best Music Video, and Best Engineered Recording, underscoring their wide-ranging impact on the local music scene.</p><p>BINI, another standout in this year’s awards, has been recognized in multiple categories, including Record of the Year for their track &quot;Pantropiko&quot; and Song of the Year.
