MANILA — Actor Niño Muhlach has finally spoken up about the alleged sexual molestation of his son, Sparkle artist Sandro Muhlach.

In a statement, Niño said his family has “suffered so much” because of what happened to his son.

"Our family has suffered so much because of the unspeakable and vile acts done to our son,” he said, also asking for prayers from everyone.

“We ask for your prayers to help us muster enough strength and courage to withstand the horror of re-living the dastardly acts of the perpetrators as we seek justice through our legal system,” Niño added.

The family likewise thanked everyone who support them.

The National Bureau of Investigation earlier confirmed to ABS-CBN News that Niño and son Sandro visited its office on Friday to formally file a sexual molestation complaint against Jojo Nones and Richard Cruz.

The two independent contractors of GMA Network are accused of sexually molesting Sandro during the GMA Gala 2024, held at the Marriott Hotel in Pasay City last July.
