K-pop star Chanyeol of EXO. Photo from EXO's X accountK-pop singer Chanyeol, a member of the popular boy band EXO, is returning to Manila this October as part of his solo tour.

Chanyeol's tour, titled "City-scape," was announced on Friday through a poster on EXO's X (formerly Twitter) account, which detailed the stops.

The 31-year-old idol, who last went to Manila in December for a brand-organized fan meeting, is scheduled to play at the Araneta Coliseum on October 19, based on the tour poster.

The tour will kick off with a two-day show in Seoul in September, before traveling to various Asian destinations, including Vietnam, Thailand, Japan, Indonesia, and Hong Kong.

Photo from EXO's X accountThe announcement comes less than a week after EXO's label SM Entertainment reportedly said Chanyeol would debut as a soloist this August.

Chanyeol debuted in 2012 as a member of the boy band EXO, known for hits like "Growl," "Ko Ko Bop," and "Love Shot." Although he has not officially debuted as a solo artist, he has released solo tracks such as "Good Enough" and "SSFW."

Chanyeol is also a part of the sub-unit EXO-SC alongside bandmate Sehun, who is currently fulfilling his mandatory military service.
