Filipino-American rapping sensation EZ Mil is riding high on a wave of success and creativity.

He is powered by the energy of his collab with Eminem on the new song “Head Honcho” – as well as the excitement of a fresh business venture that ignited his entrepreneurial spirit.

“It was a crazy experience because I just can't get my mind off the actual recording situation in the studio with him," EZ Mil said of Eminem. "He just told me, ‘Yo! Just be yourself, man, do your language.’ That was worth it. It was such an honorable thing to be able to do.”

EZ Mil – whose real name is Ezekiel Miller Sapiera – has gained fame for his razor-sharp lyrics and dynamic flow. He is now broadening his horizons beyond the music industry.

Recently, he took a bold step into the restaurant business by co-owning C3 Seafood & Bar at Shanghai Plaza in Chinatown, Las Vegas.

“It was a blessing in disguise," he said. "I wanted a restaurant for my family because we had it before."

The rapper's fiancee Rez Casta said she gained more respect for business owners, seeing the hard work it involves.

"You need to have the passion," said Casta. "You have to think well every single day on what to do.”

EZ Mil’s family, meanwhile, said they are not new to the restaurant business. They used to own one in Olongapo in Zambales province.

“I cannot thank God enough," said EZ Mil's mother Hazel. "It’s like déjà vu. EZ came up with the idea. He said, ‘Mom, I want you to have your restaurant again,’ and then this is open."

In this season of his life, one can say that EZ Mil is truly enjoying the fruits of his labor.

He seamlessly blends his artistic talents with his entrepreneurial acumen – proof that he’s a force to be reckoned with in both the entertainment and business arenas.
