The feature “JUNG KOOK : I AM STILL,” which will be released in cinemas worldwide beginning September 18, was announced late Wednesday through a post on BTS’ X account.

Following the announcement, SM Cinema and Ayala Malls Cinemas said the documentary would screen in their movie houses.

Tickets go on sale beginning August 21, both cinema operators said.

Additional details on local screenings and seat availability can be found on this website.

In a video posted on the BANGTANTV YouTube channel, Jungkook shared that the documentary chronicles the months-long journey leading up to the release of his solo debut album "Golden" in 2023.

"For me, 'Golden' was a series of continuous new challenges, the long journey that led up to a long album filled with songs of diverse genres," Jungkook said in the video.

"[This documentary] tells the full story of Jungkook as a solo artist," he said.

Jungkook debuted in 2013 as a member of BTS, which has risen to become one of South Korea's most successful pop acts, selling out stadiums across the world and topping key music charts in the United States.

In November 2023, Jungkook dropped "Golden," which debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 albums chart.

Currently, Jungkook is one of six BTS members fulfilling their mandatory military service. The group is expected to resume promotional activities as a full seven-member ensemble by 2025.
