MANILA — Marking their 14th year of bringing fun to their viewers, the cast of "Running Man Korea" showed their diverse skillset as they met their Filipino fans once again on their "Run 2 U" show at the SM Mall of Asia Arena last July 6.

Aside from comedic banters, Yu Jae Seok, Jee Seok Jin, Kim Jong Kook, HaHa, Song Ji Hyo, and Yang Se Chan also showed off their vocal and dance abilities through solo, unit, and group stages.

The OG runners entered the stage with a cover of BTS' hit song "Spring Day." As for solo presentations, Ji Hyo sang "Bam Yang Gang," Seok Jin owned "All of Me," and Jong Kook effortlessly delivered "One Man."

Setting himself apart, Se Chan humorously imitated Freddie Mercy, while Jae Seok gave his rendition of "Redevelopment of Love." A swag king also emerged on stage as HaHa performed "Ice Bottle" with his produced Korean boy group SRG.

A sweet duet between Ji Hyo and Jong Kook, the "show's love team" as dubbed by host Ryan Bang and Kring Krim, took the Filipino fans by storm with their evident chemistry and romantic gestures.

But among the unique highlights of their recent fan meet (compared to their first show in Manila last year) was the performance of the  "Running Man Philippines" cast. Glaiza De Castro, Mikael Daez, Kokoy De Santos, Lexi Gonzales, Angel Guardian, Buboy Villar, and Miguel Tanfelix started the event with an energetic performance.

The Filipino runners also had their own unit and solo stages. Villar sang his own rendition of "Raining in Manila," Tanfelix and De Santos danced together, Gonzales and Guardian joined forces to sing BINI's mashup songs, and De Castro impressed the crowd with her powerful delivery of "Tala."

After hyping the crowd, they also told the audience how excited they were in preparing and meeting the "Running Man Korea" cast, who then filled the special night with more exciting activities.

The Korean stars showed their wit and charming personalities through fun games like recalling their past lines, costume relay game, K-pop song and dance guessing challenge, and a telepathy game with fans who cosplayed some of their outfits in the show.

After back-to-back humorous conversations and performances, the Korean Runners still pulled off multiple group presentations as they ended the show enticing their supporters through every moment in the fan meet, with each being core memory-worthy.

The "Running Man Korea" members concluded the show with heartfelt messages for their fans, aided by their interpreter all throughout the event.

"Thank you, Manila. We always tell ourselves, 'Who are we to deserve this much love? Because of that, we will try to be better every day," Se Chan said.

"I just wanna say thank you for all your wonderful love. We promise you that we will work harder," Ji Hyo added.

HaHa, who was also a guest in the Philippine adaptation of "Running Man" over the weekend, expressed interest in having more opportunities to come back to the Philippines in the future.
