MANILA  -- Actress-TV host Anne Curtis is back on "It's Showtime."

On Saturday, July 6, Curtis surprised the madlang people as she returned from a short break from the Kapamilya noontime show to spend time with her family and fulfill her upcoming acting projects.

"O huwag niyo na akong hanapin a, 'yung mga nasa Twitter, Facebook, TikTok and Instagram. I kept my promised andito na po ako ngayon today," Curtis said on "It's Showtime."

Curtis also showed that her brief break had no impact on her chemistry with her fellow hosts as she joked around with them.

"Pero alam niyo sobra ko kayong na-miss habang wala ako. Naiisip ko naman kayo doon kasi ang daming animals sa South Africa," she jokingly said.

"Tuwang tuwa kasi si Dahlia, sobrang cute ng mga Zebra doon, so cute," she added.

Aside from the noontime show, Curtis is set to finish a film with Erik Matti and the Filipino adaptation of the hit K-drama series "It's Okay To Not Be Okay" with Carlo Aquino and Joshua Garcia.
