MANILA -- Star Magic artist Amanda Zamora asked social media users to stop spreading false information and rumors linking her to someone she was in "no way associated with."

On Instagram Stories on Tuesday, Zamora also urged her followers to be kinder and be careful with words. 

"I kindly ask everyone to stop spreading baseless rumors and fake news where I am in no way associated with. May we be kinder in words towards one another and practice discernment, especially on the internet," she said.

Zamora has been the topic of recent rumors romantically linking her with actor Daniel Padilla.

Zamora started her career in modeling before she joined "Pinoy Big Brother." She was one of the stars of the movie "Connected" and was also part of PIE Channel's interactive series "The Chosen One."

She is the only daughter of San Juan Mayor Francis Zamora, who officiated the civil wedding of Padilla's brother JC and Nathalia Valdivia this July.
