MANILA  -- Years after being away from her home, singer Morissette Amon has finally reconciled with her family. 

In a social media post, the singer shared a sweet and meaningful carousel of snaps where she and her husband Dave Lamar finally had a moment with her family. 

"Celebrating life and all its miracles," the singer said in her post followed by a white heart and crying emojis. "thank You, Jesus." 

In the same upload, the singer and her husband Lamar are seemingly in good terms with her family after their falling out in 2019.

In 2019, Amon and Lamar’s romance became the subject of rumors when the singer's father, Amay Amon, expressed disapproval of their relationship.

Morissette continues to pray for healing within family

Despite this, the two got engaged in September 2020 although they only announced it in December the same year.

The two tied the knot on June 28, 2021, at the Netherlands-inspired Old Grove Farmstead in Lipa, Batangas without the presence of the singer's close relatives and family members.
