MANILA -- Dance teacher and choreographer Georcelle Dapat-Sy, the founder of G-Force, said on Sunday that she has not had an opportunity to talk or reconnect with Sarah Geronimo-Guidicelli.

G-Force was a longtime collaborator of Geronimo-Guidicelli, but they were absent when she celebrated her 20th anniversary in the industry in May 2023.

Dapat-Sy later cited "artistic differences" with Geronimo-Guidicelli as the reason that they did not participate in the concert. In May 2024, Dapat-Sy said she is "praying" that her friendship with Geronimo-Guidicelli can be repaired.

But after the recital for G-Force's "Project 2024" on Sunday at Solaire, the choreographer revealed that this has yet to happen.

"No, we have not," said Dapat-Sy when asked if she has reconnected with the Popstar Royalty.

"You know, I've done a lot of collaborations with Sarah Geronimo, and those are treasured collaborations. I am very thankful. I am very blessed for all the collabs that we've done," Dapat-Sy also said.

"So, I wish her all the best, and I hope that she wishes all the best also for my team."

Dapat-Sy and Geronimo-Guidicelli collaborated for 16 years, with the dance teacher credited as the choreographer for some of Sarah's iconic dance moves, including the mega-hit "Tala."
