Blackpink set for comeback, world tour in 2025, says label

<div><span class="fr-img-caption fr-fic fr-dib" style="width:900px"><span class="fr-img-wrap"><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/1721577751934BLACKPINK.jfif" style="width:900px" class="fr-fic fr-dib"/><span class="fr-inner" style="text-align:left">K-pop girl group Blackpink. <em>Photo from Blackpink&#x27;s X account</em></span></span></span>K-pop girl group Blackpink is set to make a comeback and embark on a world tour in 2025, its management company said late Sunday.</div><p>YG Entertainment founder and executive producer Yang Hyun-suk made the announcement in a video uploaded on the label&#x27;s YouTube channel.</p><p>When asked about YG&#x27;s plans for next year, Yang said, &quot;I can&#x27;t say we have specific plans yet but I think a lot of artists will be active simultaneously.&quot;</p><p>&quot;There will be a highly anticipated comeback from Blackpink and it will also be the year Blackpink starts their world tour,&quot; he said via subtitles without going into further details.</p><p>The comeback will be Blackpink&#x27;s first since the release of its second studio album, &quot;Born Pink,&quot; in September 2022.</p><p>Blackpink&#x27;s initial exclusive contract with YG expired in August of last year.
