MANILA  -- After putting up her own production company with her husband Dennis Trillo, actress Jennylyn Mercado revealed to the press on Thursday that her contract with GMA Network is still under negotiations.

According to Mercado, she's still happy working with her home network where she started building her name as an actress.

"Pinag-uusapan pa. Pero sa ngayon, basta ganito Tito, kung gusto pa rin nila akong maging Kapuso, happy pa rin ako na maging Kapuso," she said.

As she clarified her network status with GMA Network, the entertainment press asked: "So we could say na freelance ka ngayon?"

Aside from upcoming plans for her production company, the actress is set to star in an upcoming movie with Dennis Trillo and actor Sam Milby.
