On Monday, Il-woo took to Instagram to post photos with Sandara during their trip.

"It’s my first time in Philippines, I‘m so excited," the actor, whose notable series include "Moon Embracing the Sun" and "Bossam: Steal the Fate," wrote on the caption.

In her Instagram account, Sandara also posted a photo with Il-woo.

"Is it possible to go on a trip with a male friend?" she said in the caption.

Both celebrities used the hashtag #DaraTour in their posts, indicating that their trip was part of "Dara Tour," a series of travel vlogs featured on Sandara's YouTube channel.

Sandara and Il-woo worked together in the 2009 period drama "The Return of Iljimae."

In 2021, Sandara guested on Il-woo's YouTube channel, where the actor cooked beef kaldereta and seafood sinigang for the K-pop idol.

Sandara is known for frequently bringing her Korean celebrity friends to the Philippines, having lived in the country and worked in local show business prior to debuting as a member of the K-pop girl group 2NE1.
