In the series, Hayato portrays Ryu Narutaki, a man who left everything behind in Japan and is saved by a boxer named Johan Hwang, played by Taecyeon, in a foreign land.

Hayato, who previously appeared in the thriller series "Alice in Borderland," said he felt excited to play one of the lead roles.

Hayato said working with Taecyeon, who is also known as a member of the K-pop boy band 2PM, "has been inspiring."

Taecyeon, whose past shows include "Vincenzo" and "Heartbeat," said he took interest in the project to explore new characters.
