On Friday, SM Cinema said it would hold limited screenings for "Blackpink World Tour [Born Pink] in Cinemas."

"Stay tuned for the advance ticket sale announcement," SM told fans in an X (formerly Twitter) post.

The concert film, which will premiere in over 110 countries, is being released for the group's eighth debut anniversary, which is celebrated every August.

The synopsis on the feature's website read: "The film shows unprecedented production scale, presenting exclusively arranged versions of Blackpink's hit songs unique to this concert and encompassing performances from Seoul's Gocheok Dome alongside footage from further cities across the global tour."

The tour included a two-day stop at the Philippine Arena in March 2023.

After debuting in 2016 under YG Entertainment, Blackpink — consisting of Jennie, Jisoo Rosé and Lisa — has grown to become one of K-pop's most commercially successful girl groups.

In 2022, the "Born Pink" album topped the Billboard 200, which ranks the most popular albums in the United States. With the feat, the quartet became the first all-female group since 2008 to hit No. 1 on the chart.

The quartet also became the first K-pop act to headline the popular Coachella music festival in the US.
