In a notice on fan community app Weverse, BigHit Music said the 28-year-old singer, who is currently fulfilling his mandatory service in the South Korean military, would drop the album titled "Muse" on July 19.

"Muse" is a follow-up to Jimin's debut solo album "Face," released back in March 2023.

"Following his first solo album, 'Face,' where he sought to explore his true identity, 'Muse' documents his journey in search of the source of his inspiration," BigHit said.

Pre-orders for the album start on Tuesday, June 18.

Recently, all of the BTS members reunited for Jin's discharge from the military, making him the first of the seven-piece act to finish his mandatory service.

While the K-pop sensation's members have been in the military, they have been releasing new music in recent months, presumably prepared ahead of their enlistment.

BTS is expected to return as a full group of seven by 2025.
