The event, which introduces a plethora of skins, map decorations, and in-game cosmetics inspired by the K-pop girl group was made available to players past midnight Thursday in the Philippines.

"Our collaboration with the iconic group NewJeans is finally here. Spanning across transformed worlds and featuring a diverse range of items and events, the PUBG x NewJeans collaboration promises a whole new experience!" the game's distributor Krafton said in the website.

There is also a truck in maps Erangel, Miramar, Vikendi, Taego, Deston, and Rondo which allows you to interact and trigger a music video by performing an emote on the stage.

All maps will have energy drinks and care packages decorated inspired by NewJeans, while vehicle music has also been changed to NewJeans music.

This is not the first time NewJeans collaborated with a game. Just last November, NewJeans sang the anthem to the League of Legends World Championship (Worlds 2023) titled "GODS," after the tournament was held in South Korea.

NewJeans recently came back with their song titled "How Sweet" off the single album of the same title. 

PUBG for the PC and the console is available on Steam, the Epic Games Store, and on the XBox and Playstation stores.
