MANILA --  OPM girl group BINI is adding another feather to its cap, as it joined Teen Vogue's list of "12 Girl Groups To Watch in 2024.

The US lifestyle publication added "BINI" to its list of girl groups "about to completely take over your playlists."

In the description, Teen Vogue also looked back at BINI's debut back in 2021 with the song "Born To Win" and the girls' hit songs like "Pantropiko" and "Salamin, Salamin."  

“So far, in 2024, the group has released another hit song, ‘Salamin, Salamin,’ which climbed the charts, all while ‘Pantropiko’ continued to trend as well. At the time of writing, the group’s hold is still evident as 'Pantropiko' tops Billboard’s Philippines Songs chart with ‘Salamin, Salamin’ right behind,” the post read.

Other girl groups on Teen Vogue’s list include K-pop acts BabyMonster, Kiss of Life, ILLIT, and Billlie, as well as the upcoming girl group from the survival show “I-LAND 2.” The publication praised each group for their unique talents and potential to make a significant impact in the music industry in 2024.

Last March, BINI released their extended play "Talaarawan" which featured the viral tracks "Pantropiko" and "Salamin, Salamin." 

Composed of Mikha, Aiah, Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Jhoanna and Sheena, BINI are also known for their singles such as "Na, Na, Na," "Huwag Muna Tayong Umuwi," "Lagi," among others.

They will hold their first solo concert, "BINIverse," on June 28, 29, and 30 at the New Frontier Theater in Quezon City.
