MANILA -- OPM rock band Agsunta officially signed a co-management contract with Cornerstone Entertainment. 

The band is currently signed under PPL Artists Management and with this partnership, Agsunta will be able to reach a wider audience and participate in more exciting live events here and overseas.

Agsunta has been in the business for more than a decade and this signifies a new era for the group.

"Siyempre sobrang overhwelmed kami ngayon lalo na 'yung sinabi ni Sir Jeff (Vadillo), sobrang heartfelt, hindi namin akalain na may mga taong sobrang support sa OPM," said Jireh Singson, the band's vocalist.

"Mas marami kaming gagawin na mga shows, maraming ire-release na songs na original na nakabangko lang sa amin, ilang years na rin. Full force, mga originals naman ang ilalabas namin."

In terms of sound, the band does not want to box its music into a genre or two.

"Sa sound, more on, sa panahon ngayon, 'yung genre hindi na naka-stick sa isa. 'Yung genre namin as a band magkakaiba talaga, magkakaibang tunog," said Singson.

Lately, bands have been featuring popular celebrities in their music videos and Agsunta dreams of having Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano, Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera, and primetime television star Ivana Alawi.

"Meron na kaming music video with Ivana noon pa noong 2018, hindi pa sumasabog si Ivana noon. 'Wakasan.' Gusto ko lang magkaroon ng part 2 ng ganun. Kahit sobrang sikat na niya ngayon," Singson said.

According to Jeff Vadillo, vice president of Cornerstone Management, "We really believe in the talent. We believe na marami pang pwedeng i-share, bagong music, bagong shows, bagong concerts."
