MANILA -- Actress Marjorie Barretto on Tuesday turned to social media to honor her children after her 50th birthday celebration.

On Instagram, Barretto, who entered her "Golden Girl era" last Sunday, penned her message for her children as she uploaded photos taken by Nice Print Photography during her intimate birthday dinner.

"My family. My children. My biggest blessing. They are my source of strength and I am proud to be their Mommy. Thank you for all the love you have shown me during my party. Your speeches that made us cry. Like I said, 31 years of my 50 years in life, I was Mother. And I thank them for patiently growing up with me," she wrote.
