In a press release, Netflix confirmed the production of the series with the working title "All the Love You Wish For," written by famed K-drama writer Kim Eun-sook and directed by Lee Byeong-heon.

The upcoming romantic-comedy show explores the story of Jinn (Woo-bin), a genie who awakens after a thousand years, and Ka-young (Suzy), his new impassive master, Netflix said.

"The series weaves a romantic comedy around their conflicts over three wishes, setting the stage for magical mishaps and heartfelt moments," it added.

Netflix also released photos of the cast members in what appears to be a table-read session for the project, which was first revealed in June 2023.

The streaming service, however, has yet to reveal the show's premiere date.

Woo-bin and Suzy previously worked together in the 2016 series "Uncontrollably Fond."

Apart from the two, the star-studded cast also includes Ahn Eun-jin (from "The Good Bad Mother"), Noh Steve Sang-hyun ("Pachinko" and "Soundtrack #2"), Ko Kyu-pil, and Lee Zoo-young.

The series is the latest to be written by Kim Eun-sook, known for hit dramas such as "The Glory," "Mr. Sunshine," "Goblin," "Descendants of the Sun" and "Secret Garden." Meanwhile, director Lee previously helmed the shows "Chicken Nugget" and "Be Melodramatic" as well as the box office hit "Extreme Job."
