Former couple Kyosuke Yuan Guinto and Vladia Disuanco stoked shrieks and inadvertently derailed the format of the dating segment of “It's Showtime” when they confessed that they were still in love with each other late last year.

Also known as Kyosu and Jaja, the pair has since starred in P-pop boy group Alamat’s music video.

Dati po kasi pinapakinggan ko po sila yung Maharani, and Day and Night,” Jaja told ABS-CBN News.

(It’s exhilarating to work with Alamat. I’ve listened to their songs before our collab, including Maharani, and Day and Night.)

Thank you po,” Kyosu added.

(It was unexpected because we don’t know why they chose us. But we are so grateful to them.)

Dayang’s music video has reached 400,000 views on YouTube since its release in late March.

With Filipino and Tausug lyrics, the song is about finding love again after experiencing heartbreak.

But have Kyosu and Jaja found love again?

“We're in the wait pa rin po until now.

Pero siguro effort pa,” she added.

(He’s courting me, but I would like to take my time. Perhaps he should also woo my parents because the decision is up to them. For me, it seems okay, but maybe he should put in a bit more effort.)

During the “It's Showtime” segment “EXpecially For You,” where contestants seek the help of a former partner in finding a new romantic interest, Kyosu and Jaja, who met when they were still teenagers, tearfully confessed that they broke up due to differences in their financial standing.

Their eventual confession of lingering affection for each other made them a trending topic on social media.

Addressing accusations that they were using their romantic history for clout, Jaja said, “Ginagawa ko na lang po silang motivation, yung mga nagsasabing scripted or wala naman, parang di naman pala totoo yung [EXpecially For You] segment.”

(I just look at them for motivation, those who say that our interaction was scripted, that the segment was fake.)

(There are some people who easily judge us without knowing what happened before. We just shrug it off because we get stronger with their criticism anyway.)

Kyosu and Jaja, who are students of De LaSalle State University, are now venturing into show business through their agency Viva.

“Kyo, I'm so proud of you kasi dati ayaw mo magganto…

(This wasn’t your dream before. Thank you because you are always there for me. Just keep up what you’re doing and continue everything you want to do because I am so proud of you.)

Kyosu replied, “I’m so proud of you, na-achieve mo yung ganito.
